LOWCROSS HOUSE
Be our guest...
A Grade II listed townhouse dating back to the 18th century, Lowcross House has been beautifully refurbished into a stylish six-bedroom guest house, blending historic charm with modern comfort. Located in Whitchurch, a historic market town with Roman origins, it sits in North Shropshire on the border of Cheshire and North Wales—just 20 miles from Chester and Shrewsbury.
Set across four floors, the six guest bedrooms occupy the first to third floors. On the ground floor, you’ll find a carefully curated gift and interiors shop, Lorna’s House.
Lovingly restored and run by husband and wife team Ben and Lydia, each bedroom is uniquely styled and features a private en-suite, luxury toiletries, a Lavazza coffee machine, and complimentary porridge pots, drinks, and snacks. Guests can also enjoy board games and books in every room.
The property includes five king-size rooms and one spacious family suite sleeping up to five, making it ideal for group stays, special occasions, weddings, or weekend getaways.
Whitchurch offers a fantastic selection of independent bars and restaurants, including two featured in the Michelin Guide.
Guests benefit from self check-in via secure access codes, along with a dedicated messaging service for assistance throughout their stay.
