The Sandstone Trail
Cholmondley Castle Gardens
The Gardens open on Wednesdays, Thursdays, Sundays and bank holidays until the end of October.
The Cholmondeley family have lived on these lands since Norman times, with the castle built in the early 19th century by the 1st Marquess.
Discover the romantic Temple and Folly Water Gardens, Glade, Arboretum, double herbaceous bordered Lavinia Walk, ornamental woodland upon Tower Hill and the new Cholmondeley Rose Garden with over 800 new plantings creating two very different connected Rose Rooms between old and new. The Castle and gardens also provide a stunning backdrop to a host of great events held throughout the year, offering something for everyone.
Hodnet Hall Gardens
Hodnet Hall Gardens present a dynamic canvas of rare and native species that have been planted over centuries. The Heber-Percy family invites visitors to share in the gardens’ delights from early March through to the end of October.

Due to the historic nature of the gardens and the naturally steep terrain of the ground in some areas, there are some unavoidable limitations on access across all the gardens for visitors who use a wheelchair or are less mobile.
Hawkstone Park Follies
By the late 1700s, Hawkstone had blossomed into one of Britain’s most celebrated destinations, a place of wonder where visitors could wander for days through forests, bridges, and echoing caves.
The Hills filled the park with exotic trees gathered from distant travels, adorned its grottos with shells and carvings, and filled its paths with surprises at every turn. Even herds of Icelandic reindeer roamed here, lending a sense of magic and mystery to the estate’s growing fame.

Cheshire Farm Ice Cream
At The Ice Cream Farm, your Entry Ticket gives you access to the site and unlimited play in Daisy’s Garden.
For all other attractions—whether it’s building sandcastles at Honeycomb Canyon, treasure-hunting at Gemstone Cove, a round of crazy golf at Strawberry Falls, or bouncing on Marshmallow Mound you pay per child, per attraction.

Based on a series of children's books written by Tom Blofeld, BeWILDerwood allows visitors to immerse themselves in stories and imagination. As well as being a full day of adventure and play too!
Follow in the footsteps of the characters from the books, meet them and see where they live. We recommend reading the books either before or after your visit to make the adventure even better!

A trackday is an opportunity to take your own car onto a real racing circuit, away from the restrictions of the open road in a non-competitive environment. Almost any vehicle can be taken on a trackday, and you can drive at a speed that suits you.
